Cortney Anderson Wascher Displays Silver Sales Award from CompX Security Products
CompX Security Products’ Sales Representative, Dan McGowan, presented a Silver Achievement Award to Anderson Lock for ‘Excellence in Distribution’ for our 2015 sales of National, Chicago, Fort and Timberline security locks.
CompX International is a diversified manufacturer of cabinet door and drawer locks, mailbox locks, display cabinet glass door locks, and security components for specialty locks used in office furniture, postal boxes, healthcare cabinets and vending machines. CompX companies have been industry leaders for over 100 years.
One of the companies newer products is their SlamCAM, pictured at lower right. Its spring-loaded latch converts CompX National cam locks into self-locking – just by closing the door or drawer. Replacing steel cams with SlamCAM eliminates steel cams that crash into furniture or strikes while in the latched position. Bent cams can cause locks not to secure properly or at all.
This self-locking feature uses spring tension to conveniently return the lock to the locked position. The user turns the key to the open position to open a door or drawer. Upon releasing the key, the self-locking component returns the lock, along with SlamCAM, to the locked position. Then, the user simply closes the door or drawer — no need to turn the lock back to the locked position.
