BE-961 Battery Eliminator

The BE-961 battery eliminator is designed to power security devices such as the ECL-230D exit control lock and the EA-500 series exit alarms, without reliance on batteries.
The BE-961 can drive up to three ECL-230d's or three EA-500's. [The wire run from the most remote unit to the BE-961 should not exceed 75 feet using 16 gauge stranded wire.]
• Supplies 6 or 9VDC power to the security device
• Outputs are 9VDC or 6VDC, jumper selectable
• Line input transient suppression and power status LED are standard features.
• Install on the wall adjacent to the protected door
• Flexible armored cable connects the battery eliminator to the security device without interfering with door use.
• For extra security, the connecting cable may be concealed in the door using a continuous electric hinge.

The Detex EAX-500 is designed for applications that require an alarmed exit device on secured doors.  The alarm, with approximately 100dB, will sound when someone attempts an unauthorized exit.  The EAX-500, with it's redesigned shape and smaller size make it the choice for quick and easy installations on emergency exit and restricted doors.

Recommended for monitoring of emergency exit doors in factories, warehouses, airports, and hotels. Call us for special application options.
