Accounts Receivable Specialist
Permanent, 40+ hour per week, full-time position, with some Saturday morning work required.
We’re seeking a skilled financial specialist to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
- Perform daily cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipts
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
- Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
- Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and accounts payable
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and statements
- Respond to inquiries, research and resolve problems related to billing
- Meet daily and monthly financial reporting deadlines
Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills, proficiency with Excel, databases and bookkeeping
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Superb time management, detail-oriented, with experience driving process improvement
- Ability to keep company and partner confidences
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent

Access Control Technician
Permanent, 40+ hour per week, full-time position, at our Main Office in Des Plaines
We are seeking a mechanically-inclined, detail-oriented, positive person to install access control system software / electronic access control systems.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Knowledgeable with low voltage card access software
- Knowledgeable with CCTV, electronic and electro-mechanical security products
- Able to provide prompt and professional customer service
- Able to research products and troubleshoot problems to meet customer needs
Requirements:
- Technologically savvy with strong computer skills, innovative, eager to learn
- Ability to learn multiple products, from standalone access control to complete, networked / integrated access control and CCTV systems and related components
- Ability to learn to troubleshoot security software and hardware problems
- College or equivalent technical training; access control experience a plus, but not required

Lock Tech
Permanent, 40+ hour per week, full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
We are seeking an experienced, mechanically-inclined, detail-oriented, positive person to install security locks, key systems and related door hardware for our commercial, institutional and industrial customers.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Team player with locksmith experience to rekey locks and install commercial door hardware
- Good people skills for contact with external and internal customers
- Must be a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills
Requirements:
- Basic hand and power tool knowledge a must, welding experience a plus
- Basic locksmith skills, plus ability to troubleshoot security door hardware problems
- Must be at least 18, with an excellent driving record

Apprentice Lock Tech / Inside Service
Permanent, 40+ hour per week, full-time position, with some Saturday morning work required
We are seeking a technician interested in learning about locks, keying systems and door hardware. Must have positive attitude, proven mechanical skills, basic knowledge of hand and power tools, and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Learn locksmithing while also learning which products to recommend to resolve customers’ security problems
- Computer accuracy required for order entry

Door Division Warehouse
Permanent, 40+ hour per week, full-time position, at our Elk Grove Village Door Division
We are seeking a warehouse worker to support our warehouse operations and activities. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders, with the goal of increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. Overtime is required, as needed.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
(load, pack, wrap, label, ship) - Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
- Keep working environment clean and safe, and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Report and follow up on any shortages or discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and help maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker, ability to lift heavy objects
- Proficient computer skills, familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
