Adding electronic security to your facility may not be as costly as you think. The Von Duprin exit device, on the door shown here, functions well, even though it is several years old. When our access control estimator, Jeff Asta, quoted a new, wireless, networked electronic lock system for the facility, he specified an exterior, electronic, exit trim lock that works with the existing mechanical hardware.

Although there are over a dozen doors with security locks, only four were upgraded to the networked electronic locks. The others were rekeyed, and new keys were only issued to authorized personnel. By retaining the majority of the mechanical hardware, and rekeying every lock, security was greatly increased at an affordable price.

Anderson Lock is the ideal supplier of building security upgrades because we represent all of the heavy-duty, commercial hardware manufacturers. Our techs are trained as locksmiths, as well as security hardware installers, and our access control estimators know which new electronic products to specify for existing, or new, security systems.
