Anderson Lock is “On Call” for Hospital Access Control Hardware Upgrades

From safeguarding millions of dollars worth of PPE’s (personal protective equipment) at the outset of the pandemic, to maintaining a massive Master Key System, to keeping fire doors code compliant, to increasing access control for IT rooms, Anderson Lock stands ready to serve the multiple and diverse security needs of hospitals, and their offsite healthcare facilities.

Randy Leonard, an Anderson Lock hardware sales representative with 44 years of experience, notes, “… our on-hand inventory is critical for fast turnarounds. A recent project called for card readers and electric strikes on 200+ IT rooms.”

“Electrifying an opening provides a higher level of building security and better access control than mechanical locks. These strikes are being installed in different types of doors with different types of locks. We specified the Von Duprin 6210 and Trine 4100 electric strikes to be installed because both models are dependable and versatile, and both work with keypads, cylindrical and mortise locks.”

As electronic access control systems continue to evolve, Anderson Lock’s portfolio of products and services have expanded exponentially. Lock techs, like Brian Paluch and Scott O’Brill, the two pictured here, are experienced and skilled, not only with all types of traditional, mechanical locks, door closers, hinges and exit hardware, but also with the ever-changing, complex electronic installations.

For 15 years, Randy has managed a high security Master Key System he helped design for a suburban healthcare organization. “The MK system has been maintained and expanded as the healthcare group has grown. Our lock techs are “on call” for hospital hardware emergencies!”
