Anderson Lock’s Second Location
In January, 1960, when Gene Anderson was only 20 years old, he opened his own locksmith company in a corner of his parents’ hardware store.
He soon had enough business to move to the storefront shown here. A few years later, he expanded again to a building with warehouse space. Anderson Lock’s main office and warehouse is now in its fourth location, at 850 E. Oakton Street, in Des Plaines, IL, and we have a separate Door Division in Schaumburg, IL.
This year Anderson Lock will celebrate 50 years of serving security needs throughout the Chicago area with locksmith services, door and frame repair and replacement, and supplying commercial and institutional door hardware products, featured in our print and on-line catalogs.
