To celebrate John Didier’s incredible 40-year anniversary with Anderson Lock, we sent him on a well-deserved road trip packed with natural beauty, historic charm, and a little Western adventure.
John and his wife explored the open roads of South Dakota, making memorable stops in Rapid City, Sturgis, and the old mining town of Deadwood. From there, they continued on through Wyoming, visiting Sundance and Buffalo, where they stayed at the historic Occidental Hotel, once visited by the likes of Buffalo Bill and Butch Cassidy.
The journey continued through iconic American landmarks, including Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, and the breathtaking Black Hills National Forest. Of course, no road trip through this region would be complete without seeing the majesty of Mount Rushmore in person, and making a pit stop at the quirky and classic Wall Drug.
To top it all off, John enjoyed a true Western evening with a chuckwagon dinner and live music, surrounded by the spirit of the frontier.
We’re proud to honor John’s four decades of service with this unforgettable adventure of his choice. His dedication and expertise have made a lasting impact on Anderson Lock, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with him.
Here’s to you, John! Thank you for 40 years of excellence!
