Anderson Lock’s “2013 Year in Review” shows that sales of school security locks spiked as districts both large and small followed the national trend of increasing classroom security.
ASSA ABLOY Sales Consultant Tom Graziano sent us an email regarding one school security lock installation, for which Anderson Lock techs installed new doors, frames and other related hardware.
Referring to the complex, multi-school project, which needed to be completed within a tight time-frame, Tom wrote, “I am not sure what other company could have pulled this off. It is also nice to know when we work with an end user, that it will all go according to plan whenever Anderson Lock is involved.”
Attached to that complimentary message was an email sent by the school district’s Facilities Director about the new locks. He wrote, “The installation with Anderson Lock went extremely well thanks to their meticulous attention to every detail. We are a small school district but to think that we did a district-wide installation of the new security door hardware with only a few minor glitches to me is extremely impressive:”
He added that appreciative instructional staff members gave him “a round of applause” when he described the new hardware capabilities at in-service meetings before classes started this fall. He closed his email with, “Thank you for all your help in making our schools even safer for all building occupants.”
