WBENC Certification

Cortney Wascher, President / Owner of Anderson Lock, Re-Certified by WBENC Thru 2016

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the largest certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC is a resource for more than 700 companies and government agencies that rely on its certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity programs.

WBENC’s national standard of certification, implemented by the Women’s Business Development Center, Chicago, is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process confirms that a business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. Each year, re-application must be made, and updated documentation submitted, to maintain WBENC Certification.

Cortney Anderson Wascher, President / Owner of Anderson Lock, has led company growth to its current, record-high, 90 employees. She has broadened all facets of sales, service and installations of mechanical and electronic security door hardware, and commercial doors and frames.
