Project: Northwestern University 560 LINCOLN RESIDENCE HALL, phase II

Northwestern University’s new 560 Lincoln Residence Hall features stunning views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. There are 422 beds in the new facility that opened for students in 2017. It boasts 140,000 square feet of living space with kitchens on each floor, two-story lounges and spaces designed to create community for students as they study, take classes, and socialize.

Project Manager Eric Dini coordinated the specification, ordering and delivery of 680 FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood doors, 114 hollow metal doors, and security door hardware.

All new major construction and renovation projects at Northwestern are required to meet LEED standards as part of the University’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.

Anderson Lock has FSC chain of custody certification, which verifies that FSC-certified material has been identified and separated from non-certified and non-controlled material as it makes its way along the supply chain.
