444 River Point is a state-of-the-art 52-story executive office tower in Chicago’s West Loop. The building offers world-class architecture with dramatic views of the Chicago River, Wacker Drive and the city’s central business district. Its modern construction design provides maximum space planning and flexibility for users. The project includes 1.5 acre landscaped plaza, park and river walk.
Anderson Lock’s long-term relationship with Hines Development, LLC, led to our involvement with the planning and development of this premier project’s Master Key System during its pre-construction phase. The large, multi-level high security system features a key design that is unique to that building, not available or issued anywhere else. During planning, Project Manager Jim Walsh designed the hierarchy of the MK System so that it will be viable well in to the future. The system is scalable and adaptable from the smallest tenant to multi-floor anchor tenants. Key system planning incorporated the tower’s tenant amenities, including a conference center, fitness center, retail space, café, two restaurants, 24-hour lobby, and enclosed parking with 24/7 access.
Located at 444 W. Lake Street, River Point is setting the standard for high-rise office design with efficient, column-free spaces, with floor-to-ceiling glass, and environmentally responsible technologies and materials. It is registered with U.S. Green Building Council and is pre-certified LEED-CS Gold. Anderson Lock has also supplied doors, frames and security hardware for several high-end tenant spaces.
