At Anderson Lock, we are proud to support schools in their mission to provide safe and effective learning environments. Recently, we completed two major security initiatives for Palatine School District 15, enhancing both access control and physical security across the entire district. These projects represent a significant investment in student safety, streamlined operations, and long-term facility resilience.
Project 1: New Master Key System Across 20 School Facilities
With over 11,000 students and 20 schools, including administrative and transportation buildings, Palatine SD15 needed a reliable, unified master key system to modernize access control.
The project was executed as a furnish-only initiative through multiple door division jobs and onsite walkthroughs. Future service and hardware needs will continue to be supported by Anderson Lock, ensuring long-term security performance and simplified management for the district.
Project 2: Complete Door Hardware and Entrance Upgrades Across the District
In parallel with the master key system rollout, our team also tackled multiple facility upgrades through entirely separate projects, providing doors and hardware solutions for over 800 openings.
Working alongside Arcon and Wold Architects, we were invited to help develop detailed hardware specifications for 11 schools within the district. Thanks to the expertise of of our Sales Manager, Anderson Lock was written into the specifications as a sole-source supplier, a distinction that reflects our depth of product knowledge and trusted industry reputation.
Meanwhile, our service team led by our Sales Department executed full-scale exterior entrance upgrades – measuring, ordering, and coordinating installation logistics. Field installation work was expertly handled by our installation technicians.
