Overview
This “bid project” highlighted security lock installations at all elementary and middle schools in U46, headquartered in Elgin, Illinois.
Anderson Lock techs completed multiple door and frame replacements, in addition to new classroom security locks, which were installed at 50 schools. This bid represented one of our largest classroom security installations to date. It involved staff from every department in our company. For four fall and winter months, a great deal of project management, weekly site construction meetings, and night work, totaling over 2,000 man-hours, combined to achieve successful completion, ahead of schedule. District representatives regularly complimented our techs on the quality of their work, and teachers in every school were pleased with the upgraded security.
