INTRODUCING: NEW ‘DON’T TOUCH’ HARDWARE

Rockwood No-Touch Door Pull on Bathroom DoorThe virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.

Today’s environment requires less contact with surfaces that are commonly touched to help reduce the transmission of germs. Hands-free door openings minimize a multitude of skin-to-surface touch points throughout the day.

Rockwood Manufacturing recently introduced cost-effective new options for hands-free door operation in new and pre-existing aluminum, metal or wood openings, such as entrances, corridors and restrooms.
