A large stuffed animal tiger, a kitchen set, Legos, Hot Wheels, shopping bags brimming with warm coats, pajamas and many more toys for girls and boys, were loaded into an Anderson Lock service truck then delivered to the Salvation Army’s collection location. Several Anderson Lock employees had fulfilled Angel Tree tags, which listed a child’s age, size and a wished-for gift, Many others donated cash, matched by company president Cortney Wascher, shown above on the left.
The Salvation Army’s Program, which provides gifts to less fortunate Chicagoland children, was coordinated for our Main Office by Maddie Lavin, center, again this year. Jessica Ollerer led the donation drive at our Door Division.
Jessica Martin, at right, bagged the “Big Tiger Stuffed Animal” which will surely share joy with a certain Size 5T five-year-old girl, when it is given to her by Salvation Army volunteers just in time for Christmas.
